Playa Conchal is an amzing beach directly adjacent to Playa Brasilito in the Northern End of the Nicoya Peninsula. There is one resort there, but it is rather expensive. Budget travelers should stay in nearby brasilito and simply stroll 10 minutes along the beach to this amazing beach!

Playa Conchal

This seaside fantasy beach is made entirely of crushed seashell shingle – fragments of pink, white and yellow – and curves gently inside an arm of tropical woodland, sloping down into a calm, protected blue bay. It's perfect for snorkeling and swimming, or paddling about in a hired pedalo, and is immediately adjacent to a famously luxurious beach resort hotel.
