The Platja del Raco is a wide beach, and some three hundred metres long, with ginger-gold sand and calm, clear water. It’s hugged by two long outcrops of tree-smothered, dark rock, and sits peacefully before an expanse of safe swimming water. Despite its obvious charms, it’s generally less busy than the nearby nudist beach, l’Illa Roja, but it’s still close enough to the historic resort town of Begur to be conveniently accessible.
