Pigeon Point, once a privately-owned island, was recently purchased by the Tobago government and is now undergoing a makeover. It’s not that the island needed to be any more beautiful – pictures from its sandy shores are often used by travel companies to typify a beach in the Caribbean – but since the makeover the island has become much more tourist friendly.
