This photo ready beach is just one of many similarly lovely specimens you could have almost to yourself along Oman’s scenic yet largely un-visited coastline. It’s a generously long stretch of sandy beach but the unique draw are the cliffs, complete with blowholes, which surround it, and at high tide they erupt for a pretty spectacular show, some spraying over 30 meters straight up. A system of caves and channels runs under the rock shelf and when the wind blows through it all sorts of eerie noises come out. The Famous Five and The Goonies will love this beach.
