Matira Beach on Bora Bora is one of the best beaches in one of the most spectacular destinations in the world. Swimming and snorkelling are gentle in the gently sloping lagoon, and the weather is fair year round. There are many smaller, more isolated beaches nearby for romantic travellers.

There's never a bad time to visit the tranquil shores of Matira Beach. With waters in almost every shade of blue imaginable, this unspoiled treasure drapes peacefully along Bora Bora's coastline. Snorkeling, diving, and fishing are all available if you need entertaining and if you ever get tired of looking out onto the soft, pale sunset, there are also unique boutiques and restaurants nearby.
