Mansoura, by the Greek Cypriot – Turkish Cypriot border, isn’t really a village – there’s only a couple of houses and a taverna to it – but it’s beside s lovely stretch of Cypriot coastline. The beach here is a long, flat, gentle arch scooping up slightly to low cliffs at either end in the distance. There’s not a lot of competition for sand space from the owners of the few houses considering how much sand there is. And the ocean rolls in gently, on a fine day you can even enjoy views as far as the Kyrenian Mountains to the north.
