This beach is wide and sheltered, protected by three bays, which makes it a good, safe choice to bring the family both young and old. The water is calm enough for Grandad to have a go at parasailing or waterskiing and for Grandma to take the little ones paddle boating while Mum dives and Dad goes snorkelling. Lifesguards are on hand between 10 and 6 in the season to deal with any mishaps.

Macronissos is also the location used by the MTV programme ‘MTV Grind’ so it’s not just for families.
