Boasting views of one of the most beautiful bays in Europe, La Baule is a coastal resort on the Atlantic. Despite the sandy beaches Le Baule only attracts a small number of foreign visitors, though it is popular with the French. Perhaps it is the cold Atlantic waters. Although fashionable in an old fashioned sort of way, La Baule attracts more of a mass-to-middle market crowd. As such it is good value.
