Kata Beach, on a bay with a very pleasant view, is palm lined, long and straight. With a not too rambunctious party scene Kata is the kind of place to come for dinner and dancing as well as for beach side shopping, a stroll along the front or to sunbathe and frolic in the calm conditions of the turquoise ocean. Sun beds line the beach, families tend towards the southern end, while hammocks and Thai massage keep guests at the northern end relaxed.
