Karakum Beach is one of the most popular of Turkey's Black Sea lining beaches. Despite the chillier seas it's waves are gentle and behind it is the wall of the medieval city of Sinop, which is the oldest city on the Black Sea Coast.

In season this beach is noisy with people but the loudest noise is always the sound of waves crashing.
