With over 1700 islands Palawan is still one of the least developed beach destinations in Southeast Asia. Luxury travellers and high end resorts have started moving in, but development is sporadic, and Honda Bay remains a haven of thatched huts and empty crystal clear blue waters. Great diving and snorkelling around the coral reefs of the bay. Best from December to May.
