A gorgeous little circle of crystal-green water hugged by a sickle of golden sand and a small rocky promontory, which protects it from choppy waves, Graniers Beach is a wonderful place off-season, but to get to it, you need only wander past a few hotels, a picturesque cemetery and the St Tropez citadel from the town centre – which takes less than ten minutes – so it is often jammed with swimmers and sunbathers in the Summer.
