This beach runs in front of one of Malta’s top resorts, the five star Radisson Golden Sands, which should say something for the cleanliness of the sand and the water. It can’t help the currents though, which are a bit stronger than the parents of most young children would prefer.

The advantage of having the hotel so close means there’s access to top class food and drink if you’re peckish or parched. There’s also plenty of opportunity to hire sunbeds, umbrellas, snorkelling kit and the accoutrements of other watersports.  For more hotels and independent reviews take a look at The Hotel Guru.

Wife & I stayed at the Radisson Golden Sands Hotel May 5th.2009 for a week . Excellent hotel but food & drink expensive.Excellent pool + beach(part exclusive to Hotel). You can get much cheaper drink & food from the two beach cafe's. However they tend to close in evenings but open in May we were told by the staff.
