Palms sway and white sand glistens, whetted by sparkling green/ blue waters… At least that’s what the pictures on the resort websites imply, designed to attract holidaymakers looking for a tropical holiday with a slightly more unusual flavour. Diani is one of the most developed beaches on the south Kenyan coastline and provides all the comforts of home, including supermarkets, hawkers and clubs, but with the added improvement of not having to go to work and getting to sit on an almost perfect tropical beach.
