100 km of shifting dunes on the Baltic sea, a dozen buried villages and few (as yet) Western visitors make this one of the great undiscovered beach destinations in Europe. Baking hot in sumer, the pines and laid-back vibe of one of the most beautiful towns in Lithuania (Palanga) offer great holiday options for those who want something a bit different. Hire a bike and explore the dunes, or sail along the coast.
