Sand and shingles up to the cliffs, this beach is popular with families because it has a pier, it has rock pools which are revealed when the water goes out and is a good place to learn to surf as well as do a spot of swimming.

Cromer was made into a proper resort by the Victorians and has toilets and little beach huts to show for it.
