Busy in summer, this beach is still one of the quieter, less spoiled spots on the Costa Rei – if broad sweeps of white sand are your beach-y preference. This beach is also more sheltered from the southeastern Sirocco winds that batter some of the coast, and Mediterranean pines shelter the back of the beach from view and winds coming from the other direction. Camping Limone Beach campsite is only about two kilometres from the beach, making it a cheap and cheerful option for families on a budget that allows for getting to Sardinia but not too much more.
