Famous for its black sands, which are the ground down remains of the island's marble rocks, mined in a quarry just up the hill, this beach is split into three parts, the bit for the locals, which is the nicest bit, the bit for the tourists and a bit for the Playa Paraíso camp site. The rest of the beaches on this island are typically Caribbean, so the black sands make Bibijagua Beach exotic, which might be why it was settled by a community of Cayman Islanders and a group arriving from Japan.
