One of the Seychelles's most famous and beautiful beaches (or rather a collection of beaches around Chevalier Bay, separated by rain forest), Anse Lazio is jewel-like and perfectly formed, with distinctive large granite rocks framing both ends. Fine soft sand, great for swimming, and a great Creole restaurant make it a magnet for tourists, so don't expect to be alone!

I went to Prasline years about 20 years ago, and will always remember that beach. I wonder how much it has changed.. It was a great relaxing, very slow pace back then
I have lived in seychelles for 4 years and been to this magnificient beach many times...I have been to many beaches around the world, but this one is very special to me...White sands and clear water are the two things you will notice there always...It is located in Prasline the second biggest island in seychelles...I was living in the main island "Mahe" but use to travel frequently to "Prasline" and the main attraction behind it was this beautiful beach...I am far away from seychelles now but still miss Anse Lazio a lot...
Sounds and looks beautiful... Do you have any photos of it you want to share?

It's muggy, and can be rainy in summer (southern hemisphere), and hot, but usually the rain all comes at once so if you avoid it it's OK. But it's hardly cold in winter, the water is cooler, but it's still sunny. So depends on what you like best.
