Aiguablava Bay lies on the Costa Brava but remains relatively undeveloped and has retained a good deal of its traditional, local charm. The beach is small, clean, sandy and cosy, settled into a dip between two wooded headlands. You'll see a few yachts moored offshore, two prestigious hotels set high on the cliffs either side of the harbour, and a couple of good seafood restaurants – but what more could you want?
