Recently constructed, the Museum of Oriental Art located in Turin rounds out the city's art collection (they have a wonderful egyptian museum, as well). The entrance hall is flanked by two lovingly maintained Japanese rock gardens, while the ground floor displays art from India, Gandhara, and Southeast Asia. The first floor takes China as its theme, while the second floor moves on to Tibetan and Buddhist artwork. The third floor contains Islamic artwork, while the Japanese artwork is in a separate section of the building.
The building is actually quite large and imposing, but don't let that fool you. the interior is crisply designed and well put together (just as an art museum should be!) Reconstructions, smart exhibits, and all-around good art make this a museum any art-lover cannot miss. If you aren't that into art, then take a turn in the Japanese garden and relax.
