Dinosaur fossils of the Flaming Cliffs

Listed under Archaeological Sites in Mongolia.

The embryonic skeleton of a theropod dinosaur and two velociraptor embryonic skulls were discovered in these cliffs off the Gobi desert on one of the 20TH Century’s most exciting dinosaur hunting expeditions. These remote red cliffs are littered with dinosaur fossils - there is just no way to excavate them.
