The Arizona State Museum is quite impressive for a university-run program. Affiliated with the infamous Smithsonian Institution, this treasure found on the Tucson campus houses extensive collections concerning the American Southwest, local Native American tribes, and Mexico.

Numerous programs are sponsored by the Museum’s skilled curators, and you can even observe as scientists work to preserve these valuable items. It’s promising to see such a fantastic operation so far removed from the usual programs in the Northeast.
