Located just outside of Pittsburgh, Kennywood delights guests and thrill seekers throughout the warmer months. With the help of Pittsburgh's hilly landscape, Kennywood has used this to their advantage, designing thrilling roller coasters with huge drops and tons of excitement. Although many of them are wooden coasters, they still compete with the steel coasters of today. Thunderbolt, for example, takes riders up and down through curves and turns with all the bumpiness of a wooden roller coaster. Some of their other rides include a Merry-Go-Round, Cosmic Chaos, and Kiddieland.
