Steel Force, Dorney Park is my all time favorite ride. It has a huge jump as the first drop for the rider. You almost fly out of your seat during this first jump and it is awesome. It gives riders that awesome feeling of butterflies in your stomach as you drop almost horizontally down the first slope. I have been on many roller coasters and this will always remain as one of my firsts and one of my favorites.

Dorney Park has lots of great other coasters and thrill rides as well. I would recommend going on the other good rides once and riding Steel Force the rest of the day, it is worth it. This is a ride that never gets old and has the familiar tummy-dropping feeling no matter how many times you ride. Make sure to make a funny face for the camera at the end of the ride.

Owned by amusement park kings Cedar Point, Dorney Park has its fair share of rides and excitement as well. Conveniently located close to the Lehigh Valley International Airport and easily reachable from Philadelphia and New York, Dorney Park is home to not only a large theme park, but one of the largest water parks in the country, Wildwater Kingdom. Dorney Park contains six steel roller coasters, each promising huge thrills and excitement. Their newest coaster, Voodoo, which opens in Spring 2008, where riders are launched into the air and twisted around at 180 degrees, and then sent back to earth, only to repeat the process in the opposite direction. Their coaster, Steel Force, has held records for the longest coaster on the east coast since its construction in 1997 and has been listed as one of the top 10 steel coasters in the world as well. Wildwater Kingdom is home to overt twenty water slides, two wave pools, and many other attractions. They keep customers cool in the summer with a large array of different slides and popular attractions.
