A fine icon for holistic living, Soukya is a residential holistic health centre that is spread over an area of 32 acres of organic farm. The suites at Soukya have a private garden and open air shower, with deluxe rooms also having attached gardens, the emphasis being on rehabilitation – there is a fixed menu; those taking treatments being served a prescribed diet. The purpose is the harmonious balance of body, mind and spirit, the centre offering therapies including stress, weight, asthma and arthritis management and cardiac hypertension. Other programmes include meditation, mud therapy, nutrition, overcoming smoking, yoga and ayurveda.
