Fish:A tough Art Crowd

They're about to start an 'underwater museum' in Cancun, though from the description it sounds more like an underwater sculpture gallery.  The intention is to collect 400 pieces for the sculpture museum which will make it the world's largest (underwater sculpture museum).  Interesting and aquatic...

I imagine that like arranging sculpture in a garden, the setting influences the way people view the art...though a diving mask and air bubbles...or though the glass bottom of a boat...?

They're just included two new works heading towards the 400 goal: La Jardinera de la Esperanza (The Gardener of Hope), which depicts a girl tending pot plants full of coral cuttings – the museum is also about raising awareness for coral damage – and El Archivero de los Suenos Perdidos (The Archive of Lost Dreams) which is a collection of messages in bottles.  The best thing about the messages in the bottles is that you have a chance to send one in and have it bottled and your message can be part of this aquatic idea.

If you don't want your message published to more than the fish and visitors to the underwater museum you should probably make that clear...
