Wow? It’s already Thursday? Where does the time go. No matter what your intentions are for Burning Man – attending events, seeing art projects or meeting up with friends, it’s about this time of the week where it’s easy to feel the pressure of time slipping away.
Today was our big day of hosting a Technomadic Lifestyle Workshop, where we invited folks from all over to join us for a Q & A about life on the road. We rounded up a panel of cool nomads in our camp, including Sam & Tracy of ZenNomads, Brian of BikeandBoots.com , Jay & Ayo ofOurTakeOnFreedom and Christine of AlmostFearless. The mix gave us a very diverse range of styles of nomadism – from RVing like us, flying around the world to different locations to major simplification of traveling via motorcycle.
Like last year, we had quite a crowd show up – all eager to learn more about how to make it work. Questions asked ranged from keeping connectivity, handling logistics like receiving mail, health insurance, costs and earning an income while being mobile.
After the workshop, we transitioned to our Nomadic Happy Hour – where much community, beverage and food was shared. We ended up giving non-stop tours of our little home on wheels and met with a lot of amazing people who came over to meet us in person. I’m not even going to attempt to name them all – for fear of forgetting folks. But lets just say it was a bit overwhelming.
There are no posts. Why not be the first to have your say?
