Major Tim Saunders MBE
Tim Saunders has recently retired from the Devonshire and Dorset Regiment to devote even more time than he managed while he was still serving to military history. He is the author of eleven books, principally in Pen & Sword’s Battleground series, on a variety of battles of the Great War and the Second World War. His appearances on TV include the popular series Time Team and as a regular contributor to Battlefield Detectives and the Lost Evidence series.
A lifelong enthusiast of military history, over the years he has taken the opportunity to visit not only the main stream battles of North West Europe but also many of the more far flung locations. Tim is happy to guide individuals and small groups on a personal basis but conducts his large group tours through
Anglia Battlefield Tours (Military and Adults).
