I determine where I am going to travel based on the price of a flight to any given destination. I don't book rooms in advance. I just strap on by back pack and go. I get a rush of adreneline as soon as I get to the airport because I know I am about to embark on a new adventure. I don't have a favorite place but I have many favorite travel moments. Here are a few in no particular order. Sleeping in tree houses in Mafia and the smell of the ocean. The first time I swam over the Great Barrier Reef with the brilliant colored fish and coral. The glowing red chinese lanterns hanging in the streets of Hoi An at midnight. The pink dolphins swimming side by side up the Amazon towards Iquitos. Dinner at the top of the Burj Al Arab. The fire flies dancing in the air in Grenada. The magnificent bone cracking thunder storms of the Serengiti plains. Trekking through the Congo basin to see the highland gorillas and getting charged by a silver back. Swimming the warm green water of Halong Bay and the orange sailed junkets. The first time I saw the Southern Cross from the deck of a sailboat in the Whitsunday's. Well, that is just a few. I could go on and on. I think the world is a magical place.

"It was an eventful crossing. The ferry is how the locals travel. You just go to the dock and purchase tickets. The ferrys run several times during the day and schedules are posted. I would not recommend waiting to catch the last ferry off the island if…"

"It costs about $40.00 usd to take a ferry from Naples to Capri. A storm came along and we got stuck there over night. This was not a bad thing! I can see how this place inspired Pablo Nerudo to write poetry."

"I loaded up on Spices while I was there. The best way to visit is to rent a cat at the moorings and sail around the Grenadines. At night time the water glows when you splash in it. The food is pricy so be prepared."
