I have had perhaps the greatest opportunity of all. I have actually lived and worked 7 summer seasons on the North Rim. My guests tell me I have "the greatest office view in the world" from the dining room at sunset, and I have to agree with them!!! It is a place in my heart that I will forever call Home for it is there that I am most at Peace. It is truly an amazing place - even more amazing to live there 6 incredible months out of each year when the weather is best. If you haven't been there mark your calendar to Go There and stay a week. Drive to the viewpoints (off of Hwy 22)just outside of the North Rim entrance gate and really see the most incredible views and hikes. Do the Kaibab north to south or vice versa but in early summer or even better mid Sept thru mid Oct when the colors are bursting! You'll fall in love with the Grand Canyon and its sister parks Zion and Bryce Canyons; and do not forget to see Lake Powell while you are that close. If you forgo renting a boat on Lake Powell you will have missed something else spectacular. For more info on GC N.Rim see Foreverresorts.com Hope to meet YOU there one day. Let the Canyon Bless You as it has me.
"Antelope Canyon, another awesome place to visit while staying at Lake Powell and Antelope Point Marina."
