Debbie is a regular tall ship sailor and charter skipper on traditional boats. She set up Classic Sailing with her partner Adam in 1996 and was lucky enough to launch and name our first charter boat Eve of St Mawes. Debbie has skippered this gorgeous wooden pilot cutter for over 11 years, but has also worked with many classic boat owners and tall ship organisations around the world to help promote sailing holiday experiences to a wider audience.
Debbie loves working aloft on square riggers and has sailed as guest, volunteer and professional crew on Bark Europa, Historic Sailing Ketch Bessie Ellen, Brixham Trawler Leader, Schooners Malcom Miller & Winston Churchill, Barques Lord Nelson and Tenacious, Brigs Stavros S Niarchos and Prince William and skippered artist Arthur Bristoe's boat Golden Vanity and gaff cutter Chloe May. Occasionally she breaks with tradition to sail big yachts like Whitbread Round the World yacht Lion New Zealand, if the sailing location is good.
