Chamonix

Chamonix

Skiing in Chamonix, France

Obviously a great place for the off piste and extreme enthusiast but it’s also excellent for the beginner. You do have to put up with travelling around on bus unless you have your own vehicle!

Zermatt

Zermatt

Skiing in Zermatt, Switzerland

This is what everybody imagines a ski resort to look like. Perfect for the top of a chocolate box picture. Which is over shadowed by the Matterhorn.

Verbier

Verbier

Skiing in Verbier, Switzerland

For the advanced and expert skier this is a great resort with an excellent variety of slopes.

Ski the Hinterlux

Ski the Hinterlux

Skiing in Italy

Hintertux has the best glacier in Europe, which has a variety of runs on four faces of the Mountain. It is ideal for the intermediate upwards. It is a favourite for many of the national teams to do out of season training so it is very likely that you will travelling up the chairlift or T bar with the best racers in the world, but don’t let this put you off, the racers don’t take over the mountain and there is plenty of room for all.

Mayrhofen

Mayrhofen

Skiing in Mayrhofen, Austria

Austria is very welcoming for families both on and off the slopes. The accommodation is spacious and has a great ambiance and the resort staff are very friendly. There is a good variety of slopes and Mayrhofen is linked to all of the resorts moving up towards Hintertux. You can access many of the resorts via a train system towards Innsbruck.
