Credit Crunch Travel – Holidays out of the Eurozone

The credit crunch infected pound is performing so poorly against the Euro that if you live in Britain it can now be cheaper to holiday farther afield. If you’re trading dollars it’s still good advice to avoid converting your cash into Euros.

So where can you get a credit crunch–ing deal in Europe but outside the Eurozone? World Reviewer has done the research and there’s still plenty of Cheap Credit Crunch Travel to choose from.

A trip down the Nile, past all the wonders of Cairo, Luxor and the pyramids won’t set you back as many pounds as you may think it will once you’ve converted them into Egyptian Pounds. More than just the archaeological delights of the Valley of the Kings and Karnak, Egypt is a cheaper diving destination than The Barrier Reef and the windsurfing is just as good as Hawaii.

Turkey’s lira will give you much more for your credit crunch pound or buck than a trip to Greece and catches the same golden rays of the Mediterranean sun. Its beaches, and coastline sparkle with the same inviting turquoise waters and the ruins of Troy were made by the same people responsible for many of the ancient wonders of Greece.

Poland’s zloty is another currency to offer some good credit crunch travel deals. You may not have considered walking amongst the wonderful long shadows of the Tatras Mountains like you would the Alps or strolling Kraków’s historic streets as you would Prague’s and you may not have been aware that Poland has a Lakes District, but its beauty isn’t diminished with the price so maybe the credit crunch means it’s time to consider it.

Up and coming destinations like Montenegro and Slovenia, both which have been referred to as ‘the new Prague’, have adopted the Euro but still offer cheap credit crunch travel deals, but other potential ‘new Pragues’, Albania and Slovakia have held on to their leks and korunas respectively and are even better value at the moment if you’re willing to try something new. Which makes you a trail blazer as well as a credit cruncher.
