This restored 1936 hotel sits on fashionable Ocean Drive within walking distance of Lincoln Road Mall and Flamingo Park. Guests are one mile from various museums and nightclubs such as Skybar, Mynt and Mansion. Corporate travelers are within walking distance of Universal Music and Sony Music. Miami International Airport is 13 miles from the hotel.
The Tides Hotel retains much of its original art deco features, including terrazzo floors and streamlined ocean liner details. Sleek, stark white is a common theme prevalent throughout the hotel. Guests will enjoy sunbathing in the secluded pool area where attendants serve beverages from the poolside bar. The hotel's 1220 at the Tides serves progressive American fare, such as Caribbean cured Scottish salmon, blue crab mussel chowder and key lime cannolis.
