This ultimate adventure will take you around the beautiful island of Sri Lanka rich with history from colonial times, scenic landscape, and impressive wildlife sanctuaries.

Start your adventure with the remarkable ancient cities of Anuradhapura, established around the “tree of enlightenment,” and the ruins of the amazing garden city of Polonnaruwa. Next, let monkeys guide you up to the impressive caves of Dambulla Rock Temple on your way to the site of the “Temple of the Tooth” in Kandy where legend says it is a sacred tooth taken from the dying Buddha.

Continue your journey by train up the hills of the Ramboda Falls into the center of “tea country” to discover the beautiful olive-green rolling hills of Horton Plains before dipping down to explore the natural wildlife of Yala and Bundala National Parks. Finally tour the Dutch fort in Galle before escaping to a beautiful resort to unwind.


Suggested Itinerary

Days 1-3: Arrive Colombo and drive to Kandalama. Excursions to Anuradhapura Polonnaruwa and Sigirya. Spend the night in Kandalama Hotel.
Days 4-5: Drive to Kandy via Dambulia and spice garden. City sightseeing. Spend in the night in KandyHouse.
Days 6-7: Train to Nuwara Eliya. Excursion to Horton Plains. Spend the nights at Warwick Gardens.
Days 8-9: Drive to Yala National Park for game viewing. Spend the nights in Yala Village.
Days 10-11: Drive to Galle via Bundala Bird Sanctuary. Spend the nights at Tamarind Hill.
Days 12-14: Drive to Devenigoda. Spend the nights in Aditya.
Day 15: Drive to Colombo. Fly home.
