Conditions here on the Caribbean side are perfect for windsurfers of varying expertise. The best place for instruction and rentals is Ecosail windsurfing School located at the Coyaba Beach Resort. For beginners there’s flat water and wind almost everyday of the year. During the dry season, trade winds provide excellent blasting for the more experienced windsurfers who can enjoy the wind funnel effect that sweeps across the right hand side of the bay. It’s off shore so the water is flat, perfect for carving and freestyle. The water is always warm so no need for wet suits. The shore is gentle with little to no break, and soft white sand. The sailing area has little trafic and is free of hazards. Safety cover comes as standard and windsurf rentals and tuition are available for all levels. First time windsurfers are required to complete a beginner lesson to ensure competency of wind awareness, water safety, and technique. Probably the best spot is Mount Hartman Bay, you can launch from either Turtle back drive or Fiddlers reef, here there is flat water inside the reef and bump 'n jump and waves on the outside. There are lots of shallow reefs so experienced wave sailors only! I worked in Grenada as a windsurfing coach. Mainly based at Grand Anse beach.
