At the foot of the Pyrenees, Empuriabrava is one of the largest marinas in Europe. Having hosted several Windsurfing Championship events its considered a good spot due to its huge, sand bottomed bay and flat water.

Two winds dominate this region and usually come in at good angles towards the shore, making for fast sailing.

Empuriabrava is also a nice place to visit, with plenty of other water activities on offer. The marina is set on a system of canals and has nearby medieval towns and beautiful landscape.
