The town of Tarifa is located on the Spanish side of the Straits of Gibraltar, and windsurfers there take advantage of the wind conditions the Straits provide. There are two prevailing winds, an easterly and a westerly which blow left and right along the shore respectively. The bay is wide, quite deep and has a sandy bottom, conditions also favoured by kite surfers. T

his is a good location for all levels. The water here is about 20 degrees all year round. This is also a scenic region of Spain and there are lots of local cultural attractions.
