This place is one of the best wavesailing locations in the UK. It can handle pretty big waves and hardly ever gets crowded. The long sandy beach offers various launching opportunities; just beware of the steep and rocky tracks down to the beach. Works best in SW winds but different parts of the beach work better in slight West or South variants. If Gwithian main beach is too onshore then check out the Bluff, accesses through the town of Hayle. Best time to go is up to you – check the forecasts for good long period W/NW swell and S – SW winds.
