London Dungeon

Is there a better way of bringing history to people than using the gruesome highlights of the past to scare the hell out of them? The London Dungeon is a great way of giving the kid's an unforgettable day (probably a few nightmares too!) and making sure they get a little information in those heads along the way, but that's not to say it's without its adult charms.

The dungeon allows you to transport yourself back into the darkest moments of the capital's history, with actors, shows, two rides and interactive special effects giving you the creeps. The dungeon takes you on a journey back into the times of the bubonic plague, Sweeney Todd, Jack the Ripper and the great fire of London in 1666 and is a great way to see the history of the capital, well the nasty parts. Although not the most pressing attraction in London, the dungeons still offer a bit of variety to a London tour and a bit of theme-park style action in the capital.
