With new technology claiming to make it “the largest and most powerful virtual reality simulator in the world”, it’s definitely going to appeal to kids. The thing is, with so much money having been spent on this technology, does it take away from the planetarium’s original goal: to enlighten people about the mystery of Space? The answer is no. The exhibits here reach out to varying age groups and the experience is open to interpretation; you could spend your $22 learning something you didn’t know, or get blown away by the sophisticated new equipment.
