History and music combine as you make your way though Esterházy Palace. Once the creative space to composer Joseph Hayden, its significance in the history of music still gives Esterházy a special atmosphere today, which is greatest felt in Haydn Hall, one of the most beautifully sounding concert halls in the world. The palace was the former home of the Esterházy Princes, who were considered great sponsors and collectors of art.

Walking through the palace today, which has been converted into a museum, gives people the opportunity to experience the musical and artistic works of the 17th century. The staged scenes enable you to enjoy the social life at the Princes' Court and listen to the rich musical traditions of the era.
