Oregon Trail Wagon Tour
See more Trekking. See best of Plains Midwest in United States.

In the 19th century, the Oregon Trail was forged by the pioneers of America when they first migrated across to the Pacific Northwest in covered, horse-drawn wagons with the hope of creating new settlements according to the Manifest Destiny. It eventually came to reach from what is now Missouri all the way to Oregon.
Railways eventually took over, but the striking, varied landscape of the Old West seems just as it once was in many areas, and trekking across the grassy, golden prairies, past windswept rock formations, close-packed forests and tumbling, pristine rivers, it’s not hard to imagine that you’re part of the first wagon train ever to roll its steady way through, way back in the 1800s.
As part of the Oregon Trail Wagon Train experience, you’ll also have a chance to eat a traditional dinner with your fellow travellers around the campfire, and sleep under the stars.
