A classic circuit around the highest peak in the Alps, Mont Blanc, this trek covers three different countries and many spectacular views of glaciers, mountains and traditional villages. Hiking through summer wildflowers-covered meadows, alongside ancient glaciers on shepherds’ paths, you can enjoy the variety and dramatic beauty of this mountain landscape, and yet return to a comfortable inn at night with French wines and hardy meals. This 10-day treks begins and ends in Chamonix, France, but visits the charming mountain communities of Courmayeur, Italy, and Le Champex, Switzerland. Late June through September are the best months to hike around Mont Blanc.
