Wong Tai Sin was a prominent Taoist about whom many fantastic stories are told. He was able to achieve enlightenment, and so was allegedly immortal and had great healing powers. This temple was built to venerate him in 1921, and it is now famous for its fortune-tellers and the number of people’s prayers that are apparently answered after visiting
