The Niseko Resort in Hirafu is another great nightriding spot. It’s got a lot more trees than Alts Bandai so it’s runs are more interesting, but don‘t worry, the trees are pretty well spaced out so although the nightriding is more challenging it‘s not dangerous. Locals will also tell you that they get more snow and powder. Things look a lot less exciting in the day and a lot of people sleep late and board late. There are lots of Antipodeans here and the party atmosphere is pretty friendly. The resort has views of a volcano, which scenery lovers like myself will appreciate.
