Scuba diving with tiger sharks in the Bahamas

See more Wildlife. See best of Bahamas

For people who can't get enough adrenalin from scuba diving on a beautiful coral reef, you can go to the Bahamas to jump into the water and surround yourself with tiger sharks. This boat trip with JASA aboard M/V Shear Water leaves from West Palm Beach, Florida and takes you to Little Bahama Bank where the sharks have become accustomed to the smell of chum in the water and the sound of the boats. Its not unusual to see at least two large female tigers in the water, which divers closely keep their eyes on while kicking away the lemon sharks swimming around their ankles, but there have been many more seen in one dive. This is a fantastic trip for underwater photographers and shark enthusiasts, but be aware that the boat is usually crowded and is very uncomfortable. The experience is worth the high price.
