Stanley Market

See more Markets. See best of Hong Kong in China.

Catering to Hong Kong’s many tourists, Stanley Market practically overflows with souvenirs, clothing, and crafts of all sorts. It is a bargain-hunter’s dream, offering every stereotypically Chinese trinket imaginable at affordable prices. A host of shops and restaurants are nearby, and the annual Dragon Boat Festival with boats races and traditional food is held next to the market on the fifth day of the fifth month of the lunar calendar.
