‘One of the best Non-erupting Volcanoes’Crater Lake, though not a volcano in the usual sense, is one of the most dramatic non-erupting volcanoes to visit, because it was created by a volcanic eruption 42 times that of the 1980 St. Helens eruption. It's a vast caldera that has filled with water over time to become a lake. There isn't much living in the lake because there are no tributaries running into it, which means the water appears unusually blue. It's an amazing place to visit with a huge variety of easily accessible volcanic rock to examine.
